Saturday 27th March 2010

When Bryony was little I made her a Brontosaurus (which she called Bron).  As part of my 'Recovery Box' from Bryony and Mark I received this chap who I have named Brontoo (as in Bron2).  He can be put in a microwave and used as a hot water bottle - ideal for my neck at the moment.

One of my favourite annual catalogues is the Cayeux Iris catalogue.  Even if I don't buy any - and I probably won't this year - I can happily browse through it for hours.

Thursday 25th March 2010

March 14th was Mother's Day in the UK and that is my signal to give the cacti a really good watering.  Then I water regularly once a fortnight for the rest of the spring / summer before letting them rest again over the winter.  This recipe for getting them to flower seems to work when I carry it out properly..

But only a few straggly Snowdrops now survive.

Tuesday 23rd March 2010

The Daffodils are reaching their peak.

Monday 22nd March 2010

I'm currently reading Elliot Patison's 'Water Touching Stone' - this seemed an appropriate photo for this
wonderful book about Buddhism and Tibet.

Sunday 21st March 2010

The snowdrops in the garden got battered by the weather yesterday but one little group survive in a pot.

Saturday 20th March 2010

It's wet and windy and the wind chimes are doing their thing.

Friday 19th March 2010

And now they are fully out.

Thursday 18th March 2010

The daffodils are just about opening by the end of a sunny day.

Wednesday 17th March 2010

Crocus in the sun.

Tuesday 16th March 2010

This teddy has great significance at the moment.  When I was thinking of making a pin / needle holder a few months ago I bought this chap with a view to extracting his stuffing for it.  I never got around to it and now he's having the last laugh since I feel as though I've had the stuffing knocked out of me.

Friday 12th March 2010

The snowdrops are still flowering well - sorry about the quality of the picture - it was taken through the landing window.

Thursday 11th March 2010

Another variation on a picture of the wounds.  I call this one 'Ouch!'.  No more - made my point now!

Wednesday 10th March 2010

I decided to show you a picture of just one of my wounds - you'll be glad to now I fractalised it!

Tuesday 9th March 2010

I'm back home.  Not up to anything more than pointing and shooting the camera out of the window but at least it's a start...
