I put up the hanging baskets this week.

I went to the hospital today - and got signed off.  On the way I passed the decoarted houses in Edge Lane.  They were boarded up some years agao and the windows were decorated as part of the City of Culture initiative in 2008.

I love the papery texture of the perennial poppies.
