As soon as the cherry blossom comes out we seem to get strong winds that blow it straight off the tree.

I went to Birkenhead to buy some sock - how exciting is that? I photographed the War Memorial in the process.

It's General Election day - not much common sense about really.

Skunk Cabbage - I love the smart design of this plant and, fortunately, I cannot smell it.

And the house doesn't look too unbalanced with only one chimney.

Excellent workmanship - you couldn't tell there had been a chimney there.

Music while you shop - Wirral Schools Concert Band at Sainsbury's.

The crumbling chimney is being removed.
