This is part of a piece of coral that my grandmother used to have under a glass dome with other natural history items.  I can't recall what else was with it - perhaps GB can?

A new bird feeder

Saturday 12th November 2011

Jo bought a new bird feeder designed to keep thr Wood Pigeons and squirrels from pinching all the small birds' food.  If the large birds have as much difficulty getting into it as \i had putting it together it should work fine.

P.S. The squirrels not only got in it but found it useful as it helped to shelter them from the rain and hail!

Nana's tea set

Thursday 10th November 2011

Some of the family silver plate is in our loft including this tea set of my grandparents.  I polished it up for the photo and although it has lost some of its plate it looks quite smart.
