Greetings from the land of moss and mildew! There's a reason why Seattle is called the Emerald City and Washington is called the Evergreen State. It sounds as if our weather has much in common with yours. This is a fabulous photo. I love the way we can see every grain and line in the stone cutting. Perfect. And the red glad is gorgeous. Loved the current book review too, especially the bit about how "from every trip she brought home a prejudice as a souvenir." Ouch! Your reviews have introduced me to several authors and books which I have added to my 'to read' list. You really do a wonderful job with this. I'm sorry someone is posting junk on your review site though. What a shame. Takes a very small-minded person to want to spoil things for everyone. Don't let it get you down, and keep up the good work. The Canadian Chickadee
You may have heard of Project 365 in whic people post a photograph every day for a year. This is my version – the idea is to post a photo taken every day but I am realistic enough to know that there will be a day or two missed during the year.

looks like a fountain of sort. A water spout coming from her mouth? Nice pic!
