There are still quite a few flowers out in the garden. It's a case of braving the wind and wet to get out there occasionally and look at them.  Poppies and Welsh Poppies are among my favourite flowers but poppies are such unreliable createures to grow - their seeds can remain dormant for decades until kicked into life by ploughing or other disturbance of the soil.
